Hedgehog and Froggy’s Big Ice‑Cream Adventure is a bright, funny, heart‑warming summer story packed with friendship, frantic dashes, and the kind of silly chaos children adore.

What begins as a peaceful morning by the pond quickly turns into a comedy of quills, splashes, and one very dramatic frog. Hedgehog just wants a drink, Froggy just wants to stop “turning green,” and before they know it, the two best friends are racing across the park on a mission: reach the ice‑cream van before it sells out in the blazing heat.

Along the way they meet Ducky Dave, Susan the Swan, and Trevor the tree, a wonderfully quirky cast who bring even more fun (and feathers) to the adventure. With flying ducks, loop‑de‑loops, forgotten wallets, and a countdown to midday, the journey becomes a whirlwind of teamwork, problem‑solving, and pure joy. Froggy’s over‑the‑top reactions and Hedgehog’s patient eye‑rolling create a playful dynamic that young readers instantly connect with.

This story celebrates the magic of friendship, the importance of helping each other, and the delight of shared treats on a hot day. It’s filled with humour, movement, and memorable moments that make it perfect for reading aloud, especially to children who love energetic characters, big emotions, and stories that end with everyone laughing together in the shade. A charming, summery adventure that reminds us all that even the wildest journeys are better with friends (and ice cream).
